Base Metals
Turner River Project - WA
De Grey Mining discovered a new VMS belt in the Pilbara in October 2005. Since then a series of prospects have been identified.
Orchard Tank
Zn-Pb-Ag-Au-Cu mineralisation over 400m strike length. Best result to date:
- WADH012: 4.90m at 12.75% Zn, 331g/t Ag, 7.31% Pb, 2.54g/t Au and 0.35% Cu.
Discovery
Horizontal width of up to13m and strike length of over 100m. Best result to date:
- WARC024: 17m at 4.64% Zn, 124g/t Ag, 1.84% Pb, 0.80g/t Au and 0.17% Cu.
Tabba Tabba
Hosts the strike continuation of the felsic volcanics from Orchard Tank for a further 15km to the north east. Best result to date:
- TTRC007: 7m at 4.51% Zn, 81g/t Ag, 1.05% Pb, 0.28g/t Au and 0.21% Cu.
Hakea
New VMS discovery at end of 2006/2007 year, similar mineralisation style to Orchard Tank, Discovery and Tabba Tabba. Best result to date:
- WARC064: 3m at 6.39% Zn, 203g/t Ag, 3.31% Pb, 1.38g/t Au and 0.11% Cu.
Beyondie Project – WA
Beyondie Bluff
SEDEX zinc in shale target results include:
- BBRC019: 10m at 0.81% zinc from 47m.
- BBRC020: 8m at 0.83% zinc from 50m.
Copper Hills
Copper anomaly over 10km strike, early results:
- CHRC001: 4m at 1.19% Cu from 59m including 1m at 2.19% Cu.
- CHRC003: 2m at 1.38% Cu from 42m.
Yule JV – NEW PROJECT
On 14 th April, 2008 , De Grey Mining announced that it has entered into a farm-in agreement with Talison Wodgina Pty Ltd to explore for base metals and gold at Tambourah and Wodgina, 100 to 170kms south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia . The Yule Joint Venture Project covers 6 tenements and applications totaling 520km2.
Although De Grey's main focus for exploration will be for VMS base and precious metal deposits, the known mineral occurrences and geology also support prospectivity for gold and nickel that will be considered during early stage programs and reviews.
Yandeyarra JV – NEW PROJECT
De Grey Mining is earning 80% interest in 500km2 prospective for gold and VMS base metals. This agreement commenced in December 2007.
Untested mineral occurrences in Pilbara Well Greenstone Belt.
Polymetallic mineralisation has been indicated by early reconnaissance rock chip assays of 32 g/t Au, 50 g/t Ag and 7.3% Cu.

Gold
Turner River - WA
Wingina Well Resource
203,000 oz gold resource discovered by De Grey Mining in 2003.
Brierly Prospect
Gold anomalism confirmed by recent aircore drilling over 3km strike length; BAC473: 8m at 3.20g/t gold from 68m, BAC476: 8m at 2.43g/t gold from 60m, and BAC485: 8m at 1.03g/t gold from 20m.
Mt Berghaus Prospect
Encouraging results including 24m at 1.14g/t gold from 8m over 600m strike of a new gold mineralised structure immediately north of Mt Berghaus Prospect.
Yandeyarra JV – NEW PROJECT
The Yandeyarra JV covers 55 kilometres strike of Archaean rocks in the Pilbara Well Greenstone Belt, centred 100 kilometres south of Port Hedland.
Assay results from 42 rock samples collected during geological reconnaissance in December 2007 have confirmed the potential for gold, silver and copper mineralisation in the project area. See Projects/Yandeyarra JV.
Other
Turner River Iron Exporation
Mt Dove comprises a prominent hill of hematitic banded iron formation (BIF). High-grade iron assays have been received from reconnaissance rock sampling completed at Mt Dove to date.
PGE – Nickel-Copper Exploration
Joshua PGE-Au-Cu-Ni mineralisation is hosted by a differentiated mafic-ultramafic dyke. The sub-vertical mineralisation has been traced by drilling over a strike length of 12 kilometers. Better intercepts include; IERC05: 15m at 1.39g/t PGE from 28m, IERC04: 6m at 1.58g/t PGE from 75m and IERC46: 14m at 1.32g/t PGE from 58m. |
