DEGA holds tenement applications for six projects over a total area of 1,810 sq km within the Deseado Massif. Several properties were staked in 2010 following the identification of anomalous Aster (multispectral satellite) signatures over Jurassic volcanic rocks that may reflect hydrothermal alteration associated with epithermal mineralisation. Additional properties were staked in 2011.

Initial field reconnaissance was completed over several of the properties in the 2010-2011 summer field campaign, confirming the presence of prospective Jurassic volcanic rocks within all four projects staked in 2010.  The reconnaissance program will be extended to cover the remaining DEGA properties in the 2011-2012 field season and, after ranking, systematic geochemical sampling will be completed on those properties deemed most prospective.
