Turner River Gold - Brierly Prospect
  • Extensive gold - arsenic anomalism was identified by previous drilling over a 4km strike length in deeply weathered Mallina Formation sediments. The area is covered by 10m of alluvial cover.
  • Several holes show an increase in tenor with depth, indicating a leaching of gold from the near surface upper saprolite.
  • Encouraging new gold mineralised intersections continue to be returned from step out aircore drilling at Brierly. An intersection of 8m at 6.98g/t gold from 12m depth in BAC543 was announced in October 2008.
  • Follow-up aircore drilling has confirmed the continuity of +1g/t gold anomalism over a strike length of 1,500m, with intercepts up to 4m at 6.51g/t.
  • This major zone of gold in saprolite is completely untested by RC drilling and represents another opportunity to potentially add to the 220,000oz resource base at the nearby Wingina Well deposit.
