Mt Berghaus is located 10 kilometres north-west of Wingina Well, on the Mallina Shear Zone, a regional shear structure that hosts the Indee gold deposits 35km west of De Grey's tenure. Gold mineralisation at Mt Berghaus occurs within structurally controlled quartz veins, lenses and stockworks in Mallina Formation turbiditic sandstones.
Previous RAB and RC drilling by De Grey has defined a 6.5km zone of gold anomalism with RC drilling over 1.7km strike length returning some high grade intersections including:
BGRC097: 11m at 36.4g/t gold from 4m, including 1m at 354g/t gold from 13m
BGRC039: 2m at 38.1g/t gold from 59m and 3m at 21.1g/t gold from 63m
BGRC040: 5m at 10.3g/t gold from 58m including 1m at 43.3g/t gold from 58m
BGRC095: 8m at 7.41g/t gold from 3m including 1m at 41.8g/t gold from 8m
BGRC001: 7m at 15.5g/t gold from 21m
BGRC056: 15m at 2.43g/t gold from 25m at 8m at 4.27g/t gold from 48m
These high grade zones are controlled by the intersection of quartz vein splays and as such require close spaced drilling to adequately define the structurally controlled shoots. Drill traverses are currently at 40m spacings and a resource estimate has not been completed for the prospect. Infill RC drilling has the potential to define the mineralisation sufficiently for a small but high grade resource.

Maximum gold in drilling at the Mt Berghaus Prospect
A second, parallel gold mineralised structure beneath shallow cover has been traced over a potential strike length of 600m by shallow Aircore drilling, 300m to the north of the previously known mineralisation. Four metre composite intersections included:
MBAC268: 6m at 0.98g/t gold from 16m to end of hole
MBAC292: 20m at 1.34g/t gold from 8m
MBAC283: 8m at 1.90g/t gold from 0m to end of hole
These intersections are potentially significant given the current wide hole spacing and 235m spaced (along strike) drill traverses. Deeper RC drill testing of this zone has yet to be completed.

Aircore intersections on new gold mineralised structure at Mt Berghaus, untested by RC drilling
The south western strike extension of gold mineralisation at Mt Berghaus remains open and untested beneath shallow sand cover for a strike length of 3km, representing an additional exploration target within the Turner River Gold Project.
