OVERVIEW
- The figure below is a summary of the current gold prospects at Turner River .
- De Grey discovered the 203,300oz Wingina Gold Deposit in 2003, followed by other high-grade gold zones along the Cleaverville Chert at Amanda (see figure below).
- The Mt Berghaus and Brierly Prospects have recently returned encouraging gold mineralised intersections from RAB and aircore drilling over a 5.5km strike length.
Gold Prospects Summary - Turner River - 31 st December, 2007 .
- Large strike lengths of known gold mineralised structures such as the Mallina Shear and its associated splays remain unexplored beneath thin transported cover. These areas are considered to have the highest potential to host large new gold deposits with the potential to quickly increase the gold resource base and will be the focus of future exploration drilling.
